Two issues

I noticed both my fog light bulbs are burnt out, I thought it was kinda weird to have both out at the same time especially since they are less than a year old and one is only about 3 months old. Has anyone else had problems w/silverstars? My head lights are working fine.
Also during my fog light troubleshooting I had opened my hood and noticed the upper radiator hose had collapsed on itself. I removed the radiator cap and it released the pressure and the hose went back somewhat to its original shape. The fluid is above the cooling holes but it looks like its a little low. I think the hose is permanantly deformed. Why did this happen and is there other issues I know people have had cracks but there wouldnt be so much negitive pressure in the radiator.

Check your connections for your fog lights. They are bit tempermental and if the bulb is not seated properly can rattle themselve apart.

As for the hose, should have taken a picture first to show the dealership-it could be the result of the tsb on the radiator...

Re: Two issues

it's weird, but mine did that too , but actually for some reason when the passenger side goes out they both won't work (or was it the drivers......) anyway, but when the opposite goes out, the other one will still work, i think they might be wired in series, when the first one in line goes out, the other one does too, but if the end one goes out, than the first one will still work,

pull both bulbs, you'll proabaly see that only 1 is actually burned out, replace that one and you probably see they both will now work.

It turned out to be the bulbs, both burnt out at the same time just seems weird. Thats 3 in less than one year. I could take pictures of my deformed radiator hose, will TSB be repaired even out of warranty.

Re: Two issues

I seem to recall reading about how the Silverstars don't last near as long as your "standard" OE bulb. FWIW I'm on my original bulbs since new in March '04.
