Hellwig LP 15 helper springs

I purchased a new 2005 LE Titan with big tow package in July of 2006.It has every option available, might be why it had not sold.
I ordered the Hellwig helper springs but found that there is a bracket attached to rear of spring that has a rubber roller on it.This would have to be removed to install the rear portion of the springs.Nissan tells me they will not warranty any parts that are modified.Has any one installed the spring and how did you resolve the problem.

Re: Hellwig LP 15 helper springs

I installed them right on top of those...no problems to date.

Re: Hellwig LP 15 helper springs

I installed them on top of this roller too, but shorty after I removed them. I found that if I hit a pothole or something like that the roller and helper spring slap one another and under heavy loads the spring will bend the framework that holds the roller. Take about 1 minute, remove the rollers...no big deal...
