Talking Weld Dune Pro-loc, fit stock or only lifted?

Weld Dune Pro-loc – will the work unlifted?

What is the right size? 17x8.5? Offset and bolt pattern?

I think these are the wheels in the NO FEAR package, right?
For some reason they just DO IT for me!

The wheels I want are on sale now and I’m thinking about just getting them an swapping the stock tires from the off-road package with them until I can lift the truck and go to 35”s.

Will the same offset work both stock height and with a 4 or 6” lift?

Also I just wanted to say...
I know I'm asking a bunch of newbie questions!
THANKS TO EVERYONE HERE FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!
and for not me!

I can't remember if I told you that mine rubbed with the 35's just on the inner fender(pinch weld area) at full lock left and right. Very easy fix though.

At stock height or after your lift? They are the same wheel that the No Fear package uses...i wouldn't think they would rub at all with the Pro-comp 6" lift?

According to my freind at Discount Tire, Weld is "going under". Don't know if they're being bought by another mfgr. Plan on seeing sales and replacements will be hard to find.
Just a "heads up".

After the lift and very minor rubbing. Most of the people I met at the Socal HB meet last year who had some type of lift to their trucks experienced minor rubbing. We all had different wheel/tire combos. You can however find the correct offset and have no rubbing at all. I thought these wheel would not rub but I think whoever installs the lifts trims the area where the tires rub and its never mentioned(just my opinion though)

I found it hard to get another center cap for my 17's but that's about it. I eventually received two so if some one decides to steal one again I am covered.

Yeah, they're customer svc was pretty good when I was at Desert Rat. Hard to believe they might be gone. I guess the warning signs were there as prices are way out there & fewer choices.

Interesting... That's the wheel that DSI uses in the "NO FEAR" package. Guess they'll have to change to something else...

I guess I need to find out what off-set they are running in that package. I'd be surprised if the "factory" package rubbed....

Oh and that explains why they are on closeout at 4wheel parts. Better make sure I get the polished trim rings at the same time...no backorders.
