Installed my bluetooth car kit (pixs)

Hey guys, just thought I'd share a couple pixs of my bluetooth car kit I just installed in my Titan. It's the Motorola 850. Nice unit and very happy with it and the install. Took me about 2.5 hours to do(was my first install on my new truck so I was extra careful and took my time).

Re: Installed my bluetooth car kit (pixs)

Thanks! I tucked the speaker underneath the steeing column and is not visible. There's lots of room in there and sound is nice and clear. I forgot to post pixs of the microphone location. Will do that when I get home tonight.

Re: Installed my bluetooth car kit (pixs)

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? I have the Banks system and many of the BT Headsets that I have tried pick up the cabin noise and the other party has a hard time hearing me. I have also looked into that kit, and wonder if the mic will have the same issues. Any thoughts?

Re: Installed my bluetooth car kit (pixs)

My exhaust is a stock one and I've used it with my windows down and the people I've talked to never mention that they notice any difference and just assume I'm using my handheld. I've also talked to my wife while she's driving my car and I think it sounds great too. I'm also looking at an aftermarket exhaust and CAI. I've positioned my microphone by the cigarette lighter plugs and it sounds great and there is no wind noise that it picks up when I'm driving and the speaker is loud and clear with the reciepent receiving no echo sound. You could pick up the one model up IHF1000 and use your stereo speakers too. I've been thru quite a few headsets and have not been happy with any of them, and personally don't like using them but it's still better than talking with your cell phone in hand. this solution work great for me.
