Driving with my cargo light on...oops

Just realized I've been driving with my cargo light on for the last couple days. Forgot to turn it off the last time I needed it. Didn't notice it at first and probably pissed off a few drivers on the highway. I am assuming this cargo bed light stays on and doesn't automatically turn off while I'm driving???

If you turn it on with the switch, it will stay on. Don't worry they are not bright enough to blind anyone driving behind you. I see people leaving them on all the time with all kind of trucks. My new LED brake light look pretty cool with it on also.

The cargo lights usually come on and off with the interior lights but if you flip the cargo light switch to on it will stay on no matter what.

Re: Driving with my cargo light on...oops

I have my cargo light switch in the position that leaves the light on for 20-30 seconds after you close the doors.

I'm almost positive my cargo light turned off at some point, I would have noticed that, at least I think I would have but then again, I did forget to turn them off. Good question....I'm gonna have to check when I get home too.

Re: Driving with my cargo light on...oops

I bet it has that auto-shutoff thing in case that happens...I had my headlights on without the keys in my truck the other day to help light up some stuff I was working on in the dark, and about 5 minutes later, my headlights shut off! I bet the cargo lights have the same feature built in.
