Break in period

hey guys, I've had my '06 for almost a week now and about 300 miles on it. I have been taking it real easy, how much longer do you guys think I should? I am ready to see what WOT feels like.

Also, when should I have my 1st oil changed? Some say 1000 miles, dealer says 3000.

thanks

Re: Break in period

Mine saw WOT on my test drive. I really don't think you'll cause any problems. As far as the oil change, any debree or metal shavings from being new are going to come off during those first few hundred miles so in my opinion the sooner the better. I think I changed mine around 500 miles but I'm anal.

Follow the owners manual and you won't go wrong.
