ultratrack System

I want to get an overhead rack for kayaks but I don't have the ultratrack system. Can the dealer install the ultratrack if your Titan didn't come with it? I read a thread that said otherwise before. Anyone know?

thanks

Re: ultratrack System

From what I've seen, the answer is no. You would need to first get the spray in bedliner exactly like the stock Utilitrack version, then buy the tracks and figure out where to bolt them, and hope that the utilitrack bed isn't reinforced in the bolt areas compared to the base level bed.

I see, that makes sense. Just out of curiousity, does any bed cover work with the rack system?

Re: ultratrack System

I had to flip my tracks over to get my cover to work with my curtain style cover. All worked well after the flip.

As far as hard covers, I believe ARE and LEER both have ones that bolt into the utillitrac system. Atleast my old LEER did. Great cover, strong as hell, heavy as sin though.

Re: ultratrack System

The Utilitrac system is nothing more than aluminum unistrut used by electricians and plumbers. If you can bolt it to your bed then you can use all the utilitrac accessories.
