need help planning a meet!!!

For those of you that have attended a meet somewhere what types of things does a meet include activities include? I would love to plan a midwest meet but have no experience in planning one. i would love to go out to Socal and go to a big one but we'll have to see mabey next spring or summer any suggestions on a good one to attend? Thanks in advance for any help.

Get a food list together, everyone attending pick an item. Usually BYOB (or what ever you drink). Find a location suitable for most. Go from there I guess. Goodluck.

I think that is a good start i also was thinking: I manage a truck accessory store and i have some connections to take a tour of a mfg facility like Putco or something like that or mabey get some mfg reps to come and give product updates and a q&a i would also have great access to alot of give away items maybe do a senic tour of some by ways (yes in Nebraska there are a FEW)lol. I also have a great working relationship w several local Nissan Dealers that i may be able to get to help put on a poker run to nissan dealerships. What do you think about that?

See if you can get one of the dealer of big company to host the meet at their site. Prize and give away is always a big hit. Look for some of the thread about past meets, I remember the one they had in Jersey there was a dyno there for members to try plus a dealer sponsoring the meet gave away a bunch of stuffs, the one in Orlando had a guy out there with a consult to do timing ect....Also if you can extend the invitation to Armada and QX peoples.
