Well, finally got it!

After much quibbling, I finally got a new Black 2006 Crew Cab with offroad, big tow, bed extender, bed liner, and popular pkg with bench! I love this truck!
Bak flip cover already ordered!

Already got my 1st scratch . Even though I parked waaaaayyyyy out in east bejezuz, some idiot put a scratch on my door. Suggestions to fix?

Re: Well, finally got it!

Congrats on the new truck!

Sorry about the scratch. It can be buffed out if it's just on the surface otherwise it may have to be touched up or painted.

Congrats on the new truck! The scratch, well, they say the first one is the toughest one to deal with. But at least you got it over with quick and can now move on to some real war wounds!

Re: Well, finally got it!

The old saying goes...if you can feel the scratch with a fingernail, then it will probably need touch up paint. If you can't feel anything with your fingernail or just barely, it can usually be buffed out.

Too bad you got the scratch. But, think of it this way. At least now it's been "christened" so to speak.

Speaking of scratches, you should've seen this Titan I noticed at a local Nissan dealer recently. It was an '04 XE KC in Smoke and it had scratches on every body panel of the truck. I couldn't believe it. It looked like the guy (or gal) drove though a field of sharp wooden sticks or something. It was ridiculous. Then again, I guess some people actually use their trucks as trucks.lol!
