Dash board gauges went Kaput!

Yesterday my Volt, Fuel and Oil Press gauge stopped reading after starting the engine. I about *%$#*^$ my pants. Stopped engine, and then checked the battery connections. The positive side did have some corrosion. I cleaned it and so far so good. Has anyone had this problem? If so was it your batt. cables or was it something more serious? Thanks...Jim

i have heard of some early model 04 titans with this problem. is your truck under warranty still? i dont know the cause of the problem but i think it has something to do with the cluster itself. if your dealer tells you they wont fix it i would try and get a new cluster off ebay and see if that gets you running again. if the dealer tells you to purchase a new cluster i can get you hooked up with a good parts guy and he will ship...

first find out from your dealer and see what they say. if you need to purchase the part then you can pm me and ill give you his info. also sometimes if you are out of warranty the manufacturer will "good will" you a part if there is a known problem. just a thought....
