Off-Roading in PA

Hey guys--

been trying to search (all over titantalk and the web) -- but can't seem to find any good advice as to where to off-road in PA. I live near philly, but frequent the poconos and state college area. Love takin the beast into the dirt/mud, but its frustrating to find places to do it!

Re: Off-Roading in PA

There are a few places up here in Schuylkill and Carbon counties. I'm in Lehigh county and it's a little too populated for that. There's a place up between Tamaqua and Hazelton called The Paragon.

It has several trails from easy to very difficult and the Jeep clubs use it a lot. Larger vehicles like the Titan can't generally make it through all the twisties and the rutted roads with tight turns and tree obstacles. But up in the Poconos there are several places and some are even on State Game lands. I don't belong to a club but know a few guys who have Jeeps. I can't believe there aren't a few places down in Bucks county. It's fairly wooded down there. Check with some of the clubs down that way to see where they go. Or google search it. Here's some offroading clubs you may want to check out.

Re: Off-Roading in PA

I've been to Paragon several times. We've had 3 Titan Meets there. It's just off I-81.

It's a great place to offroad. You can also camp at Redridge campground nearby.
