I was looking at the front of my truck, and noticed this opening which exposes the electric fan and AC condensor. Shouldn't there be some sort of screen to stop rocks and other debris from causing damage? There is nothing on mine. I can reach in and touch the parts.
thats how they come from the factory. pretty scary i know. you can put a aftermarket cover on..........
i got mine from http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com
Your not missing anything. The titan designer took one hit to many off the ol' crack pipe and forgot to protect it. I ended up buying a 4 piece grille for mine. I am sure some if not all of the site sponser sell all 4 pieces or the just the bottom piece if thats what you decide.
Okay Yellow,
I have thought about that missing cover too, until I saw your pic. Wanna detail that install? Perhaps in a separate thread?
Actually I'm not completely done with the install. I will say this though, it will require some welding and drilling to fab up a bracket. Not to mention the hours of repeatedly pulling and re-installing the bumper to check for fitment. I wouldn't really reccomend using hella black magic's due to the size. I am just stubborn at this point and do not want to let the lights beat me. I still need to do some bracket modifications so I can aim the lights correctly once they are wired up.
