Last night, me my wife and a few friends went out. After I picked up my friend and his fiance, she states 'this is a nice truck, is this a Ford?'
Needless to say, I was speechless for a few seconds, before i responded "No, it's a Titan". For a minute, i wanted to smack her for such an insult. Have any of you had your truck mistaken for something else? I don't know how she guessed it was a Ford, being that the Titan badges are still on and there's the nissan burger on the steering wheel, front grill and rear tailgate...
lmao...I did have a Tundra owner come up and tell me nice truck today..He had a brand new 06 Tundra. I told him "Thanks, it's amazing a truck with a 305hp v8 can get 25 mpg on the freeway! You should have seen his face! lol...I told him the real numbers. He was not very happy with his gas mileage on his new Tundra...He had 160 miles on his "trip odometer" and he was already on Half.
I had a gal at work comment "thats a nice looking truck, it looks a lot like the Ford." I felt insulted...

Ford helped design the exterior and a few other parts.
Seriously? Where did you find that information?

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that...

I get thats a nice f - 1 50 all the time at least three times a week. I just say yeah it sure is. Then they usualy figure out by the badging that its a titan and they feel stupid.
When my sister was on a date in high school she came back and told me the guy had a really cool car. I said, "really, what kind was it." "Red," she replied.
On a similar story my mom told me a guy we were renting a beach house from had a red lamborghini. I mentioned it too my father before we went and he said my mother didn't know what she was talking about as the guy had a red ferrari.
When we got to his house to pick up the keys for the beach house we looked in the garage. Darned if he didn't have BOTH in red. So I guess sometimes women know there cars and sometimes they don't.
Ford helped design the exterior and a few other parts.
I chose the Titan over the ford after driving both, And could not be happier!
My baby is 2 years old now and it's still making me happy!
LMAO...Geez....yet another misinformed member. Ford had nothing to do with any part of your Titan. In fact, a woman was the major designer of the Titan, and she didn't work for Ford....lol.
