New Titan owner here

Hello all, glad to have found this site - a wealth of information. Reminds me of my Bayliner site.

So, last Monday, I went from a VW Jetta (2.slow) to a Titan. WOW!!! This thing is a BEAST!!!!! I needed a truck as I have to pull my 21' cuddy cabin somehow. My Titan is also going to be my daily driver. But that is fine, this thing makes me feel like a giant!

Unfortunatly, I could only afford the 'stripped down' version. No pwr locks/windows and had the puny/skinny steel rims and tires. All I cared about is the V8. I hope to eventually give it a 4x4 look. Every vehicle that I've ever owned (after High School) had a system. I cannot find any room for a box in my King Cab. I would like the perserve the rear seat.

Anyone out there with a 4x2 KC with a 4x4 look? KC with a decent sound system?

Just want to get some ideas. Dont get me wrong, I am searching the heck out of this site and cardomain.

Welcome aboard Joe!

You'll love the truck; certainly no problem pulling that size boat. BTW, are you referring to Bayliner Owners Club site?

Re: New Titan owner here

Yep, great deals at boatfix. I used to be a BOC and boatered regular til we sold the 2355 and moved inland. As soon as I can though, I plan on getting another boat for all the freshwater boating here. Gotta give the Titan something to do besides the regular visits to Lowes

Re: New Titan owner here

Please don't compare us to Bayliner. Ha Ha. Welcome. There are thousands of things you can do to this truck. The limit is your $$$$$.

Re: New Titan owner here

Hey, enjoy the new truck. Couldn't of chosen a better truck! As for a system there is alot of options, I actually put dual pioneer shalowmount 10s under my front seats and they sound pretty good. I ended up making them a bit smaller than needed be, and if i could re-design them I would (and I still might...) but long as you get air space for the sub and the sub has the mounting depth you can get it in there you should be getting a decent sound, there are lots of threads on subs, and feel free to ask questions.

Hope you don't get the mod bug, I didn't think I would... but if you see my signature I got it a little bit. Now... lets try to get my new intake on before x-mas!

Re: New Titan owner here

Welcome to TT!! I have a Bazooka tube (8") under the rear seat, and it sounds great!!! It was only $85 too at Wal-Mart. I have a review with pix posted on here. Search for "bazooka tube"
