Good deal or not?

Hello, just joined the club....awesome sight...information is top notch...just purchased an 06 LE CC 4X2 bed ext./floor mats for $ 28,775.00...TTL = OTD $32,084.12....was this a good deal, or did I get bent over? Thanks in advance!

That sounds fair. I imagine your sticker price was at least 32k? 4k off isn't bad for an '06 right now. Of course, you could've waited a couple months and the price would probably drop another 2k or so...after the 07's start hitting the lot. Welcome to TT

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Besides, do you really want to ask how good of a deal it is AFTER you bought the truck. Congrats on the new truck.

Thanks for the replies....I really didn't have much of a choice....in th state of Arizona there were only 2 - 06 LE CC 4X2 Smoke....seemed to be a lot of SE/XE's available.

07's have been on the lot a little while now...now's the time to get an 06 if you're gonna get one at all.

It seems like they charged you a few hundred over invoice. Not bad. You could have probably gotten em down to invoice - rebates but, bottom line is...are you happy with the truck? You didn't get screwed over so if you're happy with the truck then you made a good deal.

I live in Alaska so "deals" are much harder to come by up here. Getting any vehicle @ invoice is a rarity...I ended up paying a few hundred ($700 actually) over invoice but...that's a pretty good deal up here. The beauty of living in Anchorage though...no sales tax! So what I paid the dealership is what I paid period.

I was pretty limited because it was an LE, but it also came with floor mats, tinted window, and locking wheels....again, thanks for all the input!

Probably a decent deal but....32k for a 2WD truck is robbery to me. But then again, the LE has always been a rip-off.

I learned a few things about car buyers when I was selling. The happiest buyers are those that pay the most. I sold an Altima for full tilt to a nice young professional guy. He stopped buy a few weeks later to tell me thanks. I sold another Altima on the same day, and this guy got the car for $400 over invoice. He comes back the very next day and whines that I ripped him off.

It's just a weird that way.

Congratulations! I just got mine last night, you got the identicle truck but 2wd instead of 4wd I got. I paid 32k for mine, 4k for 4x4 seems a little steep, maybe I got took lol? Oh wait, reread your post, I got the 07. Ehhh thats probably the rest of the price difference. Enjoy the new truck!

does it seem odd to anyone else that you cant unlock the passenger doors with the key or is it just me???

I can't remember the last time I saw a car/truck with a keyhole on the passengers door. Everyones' gotten away from that.

heh I didnt know hit unlock twice in 5 seconds unlocked the passenger side also. never had a car with an alarm before, or a key fob to open the doors. oh well live and learn
