Fog lights

I'm looking for an aftermarket switch so I can run my fog lights when I have my running lights on only. Has anybody heard of such a product. Also I'm looking for a switch to make it when I turn on my high beams both high and low come on. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Fog lights

I think that the fog lights work when the switch is in the parking light mode and your fog lights are in the on position

Re: Fog lights

Not on mine, they only come on when I turn the headlights on. I keep the fog lights on all the time.

Re: Fog lights

If you want a factory style switch, I remember someone saying you can use a switch from a frontier.

And I think the low beams stay on with the high beams too. The fogs just shut off when the high beams turn on.

Re: Fog lights

I installed OEM Fogs complete with new turn directional stalk, all in one kit. New stalk has Fog light switch. Fogs only come on in headlight position. My 07 was prewired for the lights.

Re: Fog lights

My brother has a chevy tahoe and he baught a small wire relay that makes both low and high beam lights come on when he switches to high. Thats all I want to do with my fog lights and my high beams. My titan came with factory fog lights.

the fog light mod would work for the fog light to run w/high beams lows or just running lights. Is real ea$y... check it out

Re: Fog lights

You can do the "jumper" mod like d0va which will allow the factory foglights to come on with parking lights, stay on with headlights or high beam. You will however loose the function of the foglights switch on the headlight stalk. You can also do what I did, take a little more work but it keeps the function of the foglights switch on the headlight stalk.

Re: Fog lights

someone posted a mod where they added fog lights in the lower bumper opening and with that mod, can't you tie into the existing factory fog lights? maybe just add a ground and in-line fuse for each??

with lights like that, you would want to have relays with a separate power wire. Reason being, the factory wiring probably cant handle all the current of both sets of lights.

That was a "MiseryTom" mod.
