Tread Depth?

At what tread depth are you guys replacing your stock Titan tires at? I still have 19/32, but traction seems to have gone done hill on these goodyears.

Re: Tread Depth?

At my 30k service mine were measured at 3/32 which is pretty much done... I was surprised they went that fast. The Goodyear's aren't the greatest tires by any stretch but they are a lot cheaper than others. Because of the cost of others and the limited availability in 18" size I just bought 3 new Goodyears and grabbed my spare as the 4th. For $525 I was pretty pleased....

Re: Tread Depth?

DOT regulations require 2/32 for Rear and 4/32 for Front, a good guide for general safety. 19/32 is better than new on many tires.

Re: Tread Depth?

Goodyears suck. I'll never buy another set. I've got 20K and one of my wheels is down to the wear mark and the others are just a couple thousand miles behind. Pathetic!

I'm moving onto crappy Rugged Trails.

My cr$pyears lasted about 30000 miles and they were worn down to nothing .I probably could 've gotten another 5000 miles out of them, but I got tired of hydroplaning on the highways when it rained. I felt like I was gambling my life away every time it rained ,and I got in my Titan to go somewhere.
I bought the Bridgestone Revo Duelers and so far they are far superior than the Cr$pyears I had before. Nissan needs to reevaluate what kind of tires they put on the Titan for future years among other things.
