JMO, but nissan has stepped up with the titan to give the big 3 (ford, chevy, dodge) a run for their money, HOWEVER, with the big 3 having some REALLY nice 20's available from the factory i am wondering when will nissan make a set available??

I just happened to find an old article today, on www.pickuptrucks.com, relating to the launch of the 04 Titan. It said Nissan chose 17 and 18 inchers as better for on road and off road, allowing for more tire sidewall than 20 inchers. Nissan chose performance over appearance after much testing. It's 17's for me, but I "see" the appeal of 22-24. I just don't think they are best for traditional truck applications/maximum payload.

Well put. You don't see anything offroad worthy with 20's on them unless it's got a set of 37's on them.
Besides, the last thing I'm looking for when buying a new truck is how big the wheels are. That usually just means more expensive tires.
These people talk so much about the Tundra this, Tundra that, but I'm yet to see the Tundra outperform the Titan. As a matter of fact, the Titan only looses to Land Rover on off roading performance. I say lets put this new Tundra on the dirt to see if it can handle.
You see Fords, Dodges, Chevys, and even Titans lifted with monstrous lifts, but I'm yet to see a fng Tundra with even a 6".
Tundras are for p*ss*es that think too much about reliability and forget the whole purpose of a truck.
no matter what came stock, I will always go aftermarket. it just gives a more personalized look.
I must agree with.
