Did I get ripped on my titan

My boss says I'm being screwed over by Superior Nissan of Fremont.
I bought a 06 CC XE with the preffered package and put 20k down. Sticker was 28,140.00
I'm financing 20,159.50 at 9.5% interest
I thought after the dealer fees and whatnot this was steep but still fair.

also I noticed on my contract I was charged 2,000.00 for surface protection and 995.00 again for surface protection?
anyone know what this is I'm not getting any feedback from the dealer when I call all I get is them telling me to talk to the finance guy who oddly won't return my calls.

I'm starting to think they saw a young kid/first time buyer coming and screwed me over horribly and theres nothing I can do about it since I signed a contract what do you guys think?

Re: Did I get ripped on my titan

Okay, you put 20K down and are financing 20K?

SO you are paying 40K for an XE?

9.5% interest seems really steep as well.

Not to mention anything that says "protection" is generally a ripoff.

Re: Did I get ripped on my titan

If you financed what was left after putting 20,000 down on a 28,000 Titan and it added up to 20,000 and change, you did get taken bad or you made a typo in your post...

Re: Did I get ripped on my titan

New LE CC 4X4 with some options but not all should run about $31K + TTL ($34k) total. Subtract $2000-$2500 for an SE with some options.

Re: Did I get ripped on my titan

The surface protection sounds like a rip off to me, but I would call the salesmanager where you bought the truck and demand to know what the charge is for, and if it is a false charge demand your money back for it. It sounds like rust proofing, but they should have asked if you wanted that before it was done or told you it was already done if it was. I don't know all the legal aspects of it since you already singned the contract, maybe some other member can help you on that.

Re: Did I get ripped on my titan

The MSRP is very close for an 06 XE CC SE.

I think you meant to say you put 20% of negotiated price + TTL which = $24,109.

$20,159 financed
$4031 down
$24,190 total price

This sounds like a fair price even if it is $24,190 + rustproofing. (Rustproofing in CA???)

No I put down 20,000.00
Before I left I wrote them a 20,000.00 check for the down payment.
