Fender flare help

Need your opinions.

I have the option of getting either:

1) Unpainted Bushwacker fender flares
2) Black painted Stillen fender flares

I was planning on getting the unpainted Bushwackers, but I came across a brand new set of Stillen flares that were painted black that were going to go on a show truck, but were never put on. So, I'm either wanting either the unpainted Bushwacker ones, or the black painted Stillen.

With that said, what would look better on my truck. My truck is smoke. The Stillen ones are basically a cross between the Bushwackers and ATS. Please vote in the poll above.
Both are exact same cost to me.

Re: Fender flare help

I think they look tacky myself. They're too added-on looking and serve no purpose. Painted to match may be another story but....not left flat black ala GM.

Re: Fender flare help

they do actually have a purpose. My front wheel used to stick about about an inch from the wheel wheel (10 inch wide wheel) and after the cst lift the fronts actually stick out about 2. CST did that on purpose. Well the flares compensate for it and I get less debris/water on the body of the car. I debated about painting them but because of the blacked out looked of my truck it seemed to match better. painted flares look good too though.

The look is subjective as you don't prefer them while I do. no biggie.

as far as the 2 choices....it will definitely look different having the stillen flare since I think it covers the entire front fender? I've never seen anybody post pics of thier own Steillen flares. The contrast of all black on the sides may be too much.

Can you test fit it and see for yourself before purchase? if so post pics of that and I'm sure you're poll votes may change.

You're right....was just my opinion. If they actually help because your truck isn't stock then great.

Re: Fender flare help

I think the bushwacker are going to give you more of a rugged look as you desire. i would leave them black to give it more of an off road use look. If you are into the chrome and shiney business then painted would look more sleek. If looking for a vote from myself bushwacker black. The stillen dose not look right to me. This is an opion.
