Exclamation Cleaning stubborn window stains

After some months of neglect, I noticed what looked like water spots on many of my Titan's windows. I tried several products used for cars and even tried de-natured alchohol! Nothing worked. I had all but given up then another product came to mind: The Bartenders Friend" which is a low abrasive powered cleaner. That worked! I later finished off the cleaning with "Invisiglass"

Sometimes low cost low tech works best!

Now I have bright shiny windows with no stains!

Re: Cleaning stubborn window stains

Here's another solution.

Use a new clay bar and Invisible Glass.

Pollution is not particular...it settles on the glass, too...and just like the painted surfaces, just washing alone will not remove it.

Works great.

The Bartenders Friend
BonAmi is also a good alternative. Comet or other cleansers that use aluminum chloride or metalic abrasives will ruin the glass.

Re: Cleaning stubborn window stains

Try 0000 grit steel wool, that works wonders.

Re: Cleaning stubborn window stains

I just use vinegar and a new sharp razor blade. Works great.
