OEM bugshield or Aftermarket, both seem to say that they reduce dirt, insect and road debris.

I am considering one for my truck, and my main concern is stone chips on the hood. Do these Bugshields really do a good job at reducing this? And are they worth the $70 or $80?
Absolutely! I have not one ding or scratch on the hood of my 04 because I have ther deflector installed before delivery. The angle of the very front of the hood makes it especially prone to nicks and chips. It's covered entirely by the bugshield.

Re: Anyone Have A Nissan Factory Bugshield?

I agree- I have some hood nicks and windshield nicks but only to the sides of the deflector. It does a pretty good job.

Now....let Mr. TitanThunders "jellybeans" go and allow him to spend the $75 or so!

Would you write my wife a letter also?I would like to but a new boat.
Anything you could say on my behalf would be greatly appreciated.
She's got my "jellybeans" in a pair of Vice Grips
Thanks HVT!

Re: Anyone Have A Nissan Factory Bugshield?

I have had the OEM bugshield on since Summer 04 and have never had a problem with it. I got it on right the fist time and it hasn't moved since. It has also been through the car wash a number of times with the big blowers trying to lift it off and it still fits like the first day I put it on. Yeah the screws may show slightly to those who look for it, but most people wouldn't notice.
