Has to be done by the dealer, no way around it. Did you buy it used? All titans new come with three keys, 2 master and one valet. Sorry for the bad news bro, but that's the way it works. THey have to use the diagnostics tool I beleive (it is some machine) in the process of re-programming keys.

thanks for quick reply..

bought it used, didn't pay too much for it so i guess for the price i don't mind paying a dealer for that programming,,

well, be ready for a shock. I have seen them charge as much as $150 to sell you a new key and program it.

Re: **HELP** lost key

If it is a XE KC the key does not have the chip in it. If it is a XE CC with the prefered package it has the chip, with out the pf package it does not. All SE & LE has the chip. My local dealer quoted me $75 for the key and programing. Check your local locksmith they may be able to program the key for you, mine has the keys and can program them also.
