Has anyone tackled...

the Lion's Back in Moab Utah? Just curious. I just saw a few videos (In car angle) of ascents and descents. Holy Crap!! That looks like some hardcore climbing. Pucker factor would be off the charts!! So, anyone ever attempt it?

Re: Has anyone tackled...

Did you see the video of the older K5 blazer that lost it's brakes on that?

Re: Has anyone tackled...

I was looking for that vid clip on the internet, but couldn't find it. I remember seeing it a long time ago on television and thought that there was no way anyone could live after that. I was wrong!

I saw that vid. That was wicked! I don't remember, was anyone hurt in that? I can't see how they weren't.

Re: Has anyone tackled...

The blazer was hurt bad. I don't recall if the driver and passenger were hurt.
Myself, I would let somebody else tackle that obstacle.

Re: Has anyone tackled...

I read somwhere that it was a newly married husband and wife (on their honeymoon) and she was driving (big surprise they crashed! j/k for all you ladies out there) and aside from a broken leg, they both escaped with bruises, bumps and stuff.

Re: Has anyone tackled...

Here's the video.

It seems the truck stalled. When the engine cut out, they had brakes, just not power brakes. On that type of slope, Superman would have trouble stopping that rig without power brakes.....
