Traded in the Titan

Hey guys,

I hated to do it, but had to trade the truck in. We have a baby on the way (due date is first week of February 07), and I needed something more suitable for baby hauling than the King Cab. Definitely wanted an SUV, so went look at the Armada's. The local Nissan Dealer would only offer me $15,000 for my truck (2005 SE King Cab with 21,000 miles).

Well the local GMC dealer is running some good specials on the new Yukons. $7500 off the sticker.. Went test drive them and really liked them. They ran the numbers and offered me $17,500 for my truck. Brought the quote back to the nissan dealer and they said $15,000 was the absolute max they could give me for the trade. Too bad for them.

Went get the new Yukon last week. Not as fast as the Titan by any means, but the ride is much smoother and the gas mileage is better. First tank of gas averaged right at 15.5mpg.

anyhow, thanks for the good reads guys. I will still visit from time to time to read the war stories.

Good luck on your new purchase you tried to stay loyal to the brand and Nissan wouldnt budge. You did the right thing by going for the better deal.
I' ve heard alot about the new Yukons and Suburbans you made a wise choice.
