What do dealers pay for titans?

I am looking at a 2006 king cab se with an msrp of 26,375 and the dealer is telling me it costs them 21,000 to acquire that vehicle. Does anyone know if that is accurate?

Re: What do dealers pay for titans?

26,375 = 23,831.00 Invoice.

26375 * .97 = 23116

Less Rebate -2750 = 20,336.00

Now, You have the issue that 2007's are out so 2006 is a last years model...

not sure how to "factor" that in.

Damn I'm a good. to me.

Re: What do dealers pay for titans?

I've never been able to get a straight answer on that, I think it very's as to what the dealer incentives are currently running.

Re: What do dealers pay for titans?

There are so many incentives, kick-backs and other things I would venture to say that nobody except the dealership owner knows exactly how much they are paying for a given vehicle. The salesman/managers can probably come pretty close but a lot depends on their overall volume for the year and other stuff.... As a ballpark the 3% number seems pretty close.

Re: What do dealers pay for titans?

My 2006 KC SE stickered at a little under $29,000. I paid $22,000+TTL. Invoice was like $25,850 IIRC.

Re: What do dealers pay for titans?

It is probably accurate. I did found out from my dealer on my last purchase, for the 06 models Nissan issued a certificate of $500 for every two vehicles that the dealer sells. These certificates can be used against a vehicle purchase price if the dealer so chooses. He only had two certificates left in my transaction, but could not apply it against the 07 I ended up with since the program was only valid on the 06 models. So, if a dealer is a volume seller, they may be able to do a bit better on price by applying certificates, and that will contribute to some price differences.
