thanks again guys for the help, man I saw a red lifted titan today it was nice but red isnt my fav on the titans.. Gas wouldnt affect me to bad seeing as how much im saving on insurance alone, I am def going to go by and see what they have to offer, this time ill be sure to leave and have them call me. I was 18 when I bought my SRT4 and I didnt care I wanted the car no matter what, first time buyer was only 9.5% interest but when I JOINED the Marines dropped to 6% which was awesome for first time buyer.
thanks again
Ken
I got mine for $24K with about 10K miles on it. I still have about 3K miles left on the factory warranty. I thought that was a good deal as it's pretty loaded with leather etc. When I checked at the dealer for new it was at least $10,000 more, maybe even closer to $40K total depending on options. Anyway I love it. It's twice (maybe 3 times) as fun to drive as my bro's new f150.
Pros: FUN TO DRIVE
Killer looks
Don't see yourself coming and going like Fords and Chevys
Lots of room in CC
Nissan reliability
Other pros - like they said
Cons: Having to wait for aftermarket support in many areas
Wheel wells could be bigger to fit larger tires

Bought 11/11/05 with 10,700 miles. Mods- PRG Performance lift --PRG installed Procomp 6" with the large DRs, no front swaybar, with Deavers, Bilsteins and PRG offroad traction bars in back, 325/65x18 Kumho Road Venture ATs and 18x9.5 Eagle chrome 114s, PML Powdercoated Diff Cover, Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler, Westin Black Bullbar with Stainless Skidplate and Westin Driving Lights, Silverstar Ultra headlight upgrade, Chrome Tailgate Handle kit
Cons: if you roll down the window while raining the water falls perfectly on the switches (that control the window). I want to know who decided that was a good place for the switches!
Pros: Its a Titan seriously Reliability, every Nissan I have owned has stood the test of time (until they were killed in accidents by crappy drivers! RIP 01 5 speed Maxima/96 Sentra)
Cons: 06 and down models have crap cloth seats that stain from Water!! WTF!
pros hp and ride
Cons, terrible Nissan warranty and service. terrible trade in, get ready to spend some cash on the truck as it gets older, just like everyother truck this one has major problems down the line

I have both a Titan & a Ford........crewcabs.
The Titan has much better interior storage in the rear. Ford
with the Audiophile sound system has a huge subwoofer under
the rear seat so their is not room for anything & the seat back
does not fold down. Ford turns shorter.
I get much better fuel mileage with the Ford. The Titan
makes you want to floor it. There is no reason to go
much more than half throttle with
the Ford since not much happens beyond that.
It is hard to drive a Titan granny style, driving granny style
comes natural with the Ford
pros hp and ride
Cons, terrible Nissan warranty and service. terrible trade in, get ready to spend some cash on the truck as it gets older, just like everyother truck this one has major problems down the line
What a misleading post...to say the least. Terrible warranty? Terrible trade in? and "has major problems down the road"? You sure your truck doesn't have a blue oval on the grill? Pickups in general don't have the best trade in but the Titan is average. 3/36 and 5/60 warranty...also better than average. And please define MAJOR problems for us. If yours has had MAJOR problems, that doesn't mean it's normal for a Titan. In fact, other than the initial brake and rear end issues, this trucks pretty trouble free.

Get a new 2008.5 as used isn't much savings. I traded my '97 Ford F-150 and got it down to around 22K on a CC SE w/Flex fuel optional engine.
Pros:
FUN to drive! Makes me want to DRIVE IT!!!
Very stable in turns.
Looks great!
Nissan reliability!
Burns E-85 (Flex fuel option) saves $ on gas.
Insurance not bad at all.
Cons:
Makes me want to DRIVE it!!!
Ahh, well... Anyhow, I recommend it and I love mine.
I've owned Ford, Chevy and many Dodge trucks. All had cons that kept me from going back.
The Titan has been fantastic.
If pressed to nail down any small quirks it would be the single post that retains the floor mat. It lets the mat twist to the left.
The window buttons get rained on when you open the door.
I can live with two small issues when I have have put up with replacing almost every transmission in every Dodge I've owned. Buttons and levers breaking off and brake issues.
Chevy, paint that flakes off, and yes another transmission.
Ford, don't get me started.
If I were to buy another truck today, it would be another Titan. If gas were a major issue then a Nissan Frontier.
