Can't recall if I got the Cipher before or after the CAI/TBS. So much talk of it and the 2 degree and we were starting a monthly Titan club, so I decided to go ahead buy it. Figured club members might be interested, if not, OK. Never heard of many who actully had it, and still don't. Everyone is always looking for someone with it, to do the Advance. Just about broke even now. That's nice, but not my real purpose in getting it. The monitoring is unique as far as I know for Titan specific consumer software. I love gadgets and being able to measure accurately. If performance is all your after, just go for the UpRev Mail in Reflash instead.. otherwise, it is worth the 400, free upgrades included. I read somewhere that they will offer some sort of upgrade path for the ECU DIY Tuning thing, but it is really a seperate product from Cipher. I do hope for much improved graphical display in version 2.0.

Cipher will also allow you to adjust the air/fuel ratio on FFV trucks. This can make a BIG difference in performance, especially with an exhaust or CAI since our ECU will "learn" and tend to run rich with these mods. Further, the new version of Consult III no longer has the capability of air/fuel ratio adjustments. There are eight of us who bought Cipher as a group, and we share it on two-week intervals. The final cost/member was $50, and it has been well worth the money.
