Is there a new recall?

Nissan dealer left a message on my voicemail to contact them about another recall on my truck (closed by the time I got message). The brake upgrade and body control harness have already been done. Looked on Nissanhelp but there was nothing new.

Anyone else get a notification or know what its about?

Not that I'm aware of.

Re: Is there a new recall?

They are just trying to get you to come in for service...
Nissan Corp. will mail you out a letter if a new recall is needed to be done not the dealer..

Right.... those calls, as well as mailings, are provided by dealer services. Here locally, Garden Grove nissan is notorious for these!

Notorious isn't the word for it....I stay as far away as possible from that outfit.

I did strike me as kind of odd to get the phone call, but also can't imagine why they'd want me back since it was just in there 3 weeks ago to have the brake work done. I'll call tomorrow and find out what the deal is.

Dealers hire outside services to contact customers when oil changes/etc. come due...warranty work is not considered...only customer pay invoices are.
