Low diff oil level on New Titan

Hey everyone
Well, as most of you know, I bought my Titan new back in August, and now have just over 4k miles on the clock. Will be towing a 31' tt this weekend for first time. I had read some reports of earlier model trucks being delivered with the oil level in the differential low. I figured I would check mine....just in case. So, I stopped by Advanced Auto and bought a bottle of Mobile One synthetic 75W-140. ($15.00) Got home and grabbed my 3/8" ratchet, pulled the plug and started adding oil...and I added oil, and then added some more. The dang thing was low by around 2/3 of the bottle.
(I think those are quart bottles.)
I really thought I might have to add a few ounces, maybe a teacup full at most. It took a lot more oil than I anticipated to get it to run out the fill hole.
So...everyone...Nissan still hasn't properly addressed this issue. If you have a Titan, please check your rear axle oil level. It might need topping off.

Merry Christmas all.

i had the same issue on my truck. i checked with 38 miles and i found it to be low as well. the rear blew up at 10k. anywhom, make sure you are checking it on a level surface. good luck with it.

Have you spoken with your dealer about it? I would think that something like that would or should be part of the new vehicle delivery inspection that they should do.
