first week of new Titan

My Titan finally arrived on Monday after waiting for it since September. Well, after driving it for one week I have to say I am very pleased with my choice. There are only two things I don't like though. One is that the arm rest has to be raised each time the seatbelt is put on or taken off, but really not that big a deal. The second thing I don't like is how the radio light reflects in the rear window at night, so when I glance in the rear view mirror the first thing I see is an amber light. I dimmed the interior lights to help, but I don't think I should have to do that. Anyone else have that problem with the radio light and were able to fix it?

Just dim your dash lights a little more and it won't bother you that much. I don't get bothered by that that reflection anymore. I have a bench seat, so I can't help with the other thing.

Hey, welcome to the forum. I've got an LE CC and see the temp guages in my rear view. Just got use to it an it doesn't bother me anymore I guess. Also, the seat belt thing you got to get use to as well. Glad you like your ride so far. I still love driving the thing more and more every day!!! You'll get lots of info here!!!

Welcome to TT, congrats on the new Titan. As for reflection, I have a CC so it's not bad, I do get the reflection of the overhead display (compass, temp.) but there is an option to turn that off.

King Cab. I am wondering how the reflection is going to be effected once I get the tint installed.

I have pretty much got use to the armrest thing. But the first couple of times I trying plugging the belt into the armrest. It is now becoming habit to flip it up first when I go to get out, then it's out of the way when I return.

The other thing I am still trying to figure out is where the best place to put my radar detector is. At first I had it opposite the satellite radio antenna, but the first time I was driving into the sun and had to use my sun visor I realized I couldn't keep it there. So now it is just under the rear view mirror. I can't put it where I'd like it because of that black textured stuff at the top center of the wind shield.

If you lean a bit to the left, you can get your hand under the armrest enough to click it in. It annoyed me at first too but after trying that, I put on the seatbelt without thinking about it anymore.
