350z or 450

I was a the dealer the other day and a salesman told me next year the 350z is getting a bigger motor and will be called a 450z,anybody know if this is true.

I believe this may be what he was referring to: 2008 Nissan Skyline GTR. 450Hp, 370 ft-lb TQ.

Your going to want to tell him to go ahead and put down his pipe. He was probably referring to the skyline but it's not going to be a 450Z and it barely resembles the Z. It's more like the G35 coupe. Plus the price range is going to be around double that of the Z.

These salesman know nothing. Last weekend I asked about the 08 TITAN and all I got was .."HUH"...One did say that there was going to be a hybrid Altima next year...... I wonder if there is any truth to that... I could see maybe a hybrid VERSA maybe but ALTIMA?

There is truth to the hybrid altima, I think it is supposed to get about 40 mpg in town. Also a altima coupe is on the way. It looks pretty sweet. Info via the Nissan web page and Autoweek.

I knew about the ALTIMA coupe and that thing is sweet. But I didnt know about the hybrid.. Thanks for clearing things up.

Actually I heard the 350Z was becoming the 560Z, after all, they are just going to drop the Titan's V8 into it...
