Has anyone REMOVED their UTILITRACKS from their bed???

I'm just curious is any truck owners have removed the utilitracks for any reason. I'm wanting to install a toolbox so I might remove the upper track.

Has anyone else removed them because they feel they toke up room or just didn't find them useful??

removed them to put my undercover hard cover on. I used them occasionaly, but with a cover on I don't have much use for them now.

I use mine too much to remove them. I have a cover, too, but I just bought the one that mounts to the utilitrac. Best of both worlds.

I'm opposite, added a BakFlip and am going to install bottom tracks only. Carpet liners are catching my eye now, will keep the Utilitrak though.
