I am a new owner of a 2006 Titan 2 wheel drive LE. I would like to lift the front end of my truck level to the rear. How much should this cost and what parts do you recommend? I called a local truck suspension place and they stated it will run 450 installed. Is this a rip off or average? Also do I run any risks with lift the front end susp?
$450 sounds a bit high to me. What type of leveling kit are they using? The Daystar kit? If so, I'd avoid that shop like the plague because the Daystar kit adds preload to the front spring which is NOT good.
If I were you, I'd contact PRG Greg and order his leveling kit for your Titan. His kit includes machined aircraft grade billet aluminum spacers, grade 8 hardware and super beefy bumpstops for the lower A-arms. Greg's leveling kit is the best on the market and you'll get customer service that no one can beat. If you decide to install it yourself, he'll help you every step of the way. Not only that, but you'll spend way less than $450. If your local, you can even have him do the install for a small nominal fee.
Greg is the only person other than myself that I would trust to work on my truck. Believe me, I'm about as anal as you can get when it comes to people working on my stuff.
There are no issues with the leveling kit except that you may need a front end alignment after you install it. When I got the leveling kit installed on mine, I had to get an alignment because I had too much positive camber in the front due to the spacers. After the alignment, I've had no problems since.

Excellent advice from miketan. There was some issue about newer trucks not coming with alignment cam bolts, but Greg would know all about that. Call Greg. 951.780.5331 www.prgproducts.com

Yeah the 2006 dont have the camber bolts, but a stop at your local stealership would take care of that. theres a tsb out so you can get them free if and alignment is needed. since you have a 2wd you can also get NCD leveling kit which is only $89 I install mined my self just following the instruction or you can invite a TT member that knows how to do it over for some beers and truck talk.... good luck... post some picture of your truck and welcome to TT

Also, don't do it if you regularly tow or carry heavy loads. That rake is there for a reason. But if you're like a lot here who don't have to worry about that, Greg is probably the one to ask.
