New Titan Owner and Member!
Hello!
I bought my 06 Titan a few months ago, and have been reading thread after thread on this site. There are some very knowledgeable people out there, that's for sure! I've always driven Fords, starting with an '85 F250 and my last vehicle being an 04 Ranger 4x4 with 5" RCD lift, Deavers, 33" MT Baja Claws, Bamachips programmer, and a plethora of other goodies. When I decided to upgrade, I drove EVERYTHING... and the Titan was the best in my opinion. So I wasn't as brand loyal as I thought! Now I'm a happy owner! So, I want to say hello, tell you about my truck, and throw my future plans out there on the chopping block for some opinions. I started with a smoke King Cab XE 4x2. I didn't use my 4x4 enough on my last truck, because all the offroading I do now-a-days is in the Pismo dunes. So a mild prerunner is what I'm aiming for. Did I mention I love this truck? Ok, so far I've added a LOC, Knukoncepts wiring, Diamond Audio D6 6.5" components, Alpine F250 Amp, and lots of Second Skin Damplifier Pro. I have a Diamond D6 10" sitting next to me right now with a D3 mono amp to power it. I'm just waiting for the box I just ordered from tech12v to get here! That guy's really great to deal with. So far I have done everything myself, with help from these forums! I also have a Magnaflow 18" muffler and tip on the way to run on my stock pipes- and an appointment to get my front windows tinted 35%. Now the long-term plans (next three months) included a bunch or toys from PRG and some new rubber! I'm aiming for the TC uppers, SAW Coilovers, and then maybe the 4" CST spindles later on. Of course the rear will be lifted some too, but I haven't decided if I'm going to go with the stiff Deavers or just blocks. For wheels I'm getting black 17" or 18" Procomp 7089's and either PC Extreme AT's or the new Dune Grapplers. And... of course I will be waiting for a chip/programmer for our trucks!!!! Hey all!
Thanks for the replies! Everyone says it... but I'll get pics soon. Modding this truck has fun so far! I also want to put together a post on how I mounted my tweeters... but I have a busy weekend- working and then watching the UFC fight! When I get the rest of my audio eq installed... I'll post pics. Plus I want to show of my box from tech12v! Dustin |
