Re: Lol!!!!!! You Gotta Watch This!!! Cts-v Bagging!

Genuine GM Junk.

I love how GM, Ford and DCx continue to cut more and more cost out of the vehicles and they continue to produce more and more junk. Then they wonder why people are buying Toyota, Nissan and Honda products.

It would be a mistake to put Ford and even DC in the same class as GM. GM is special enough to stand all by themselves.

Re: Lol!!!!!! You Gotta Watch This!!! Cts-v Bagging!

He still had to pay for the rental car out of his own pocket! If GM really cared they would of payed for everything!!! INCLUDING THE RENTAL CAR! But still, the way they handled it wasn't professional...but what company isn't perfect? At least he got home......

I know he's upset, but he didn't tell us what was the problem on his last trip...The car acted like it went into the "limp home" mode, or overheated...

Re: Lol!!!!!! You Gotta Watch This!!! Cts-v Bagging!

I thought the guy was awesome he kept his cool and was very funny throughout the whole ordeal. I just bought a Acura TSX for my daugter and the dash and drivers seat was making a creaking sound it drove me nuts. I can't imagine buying that $50,000 car and having all those problems. He needs to buy the BMW 335i I hear they're having their own issues as well.
Maybe he can do a new video featuring the Bimmer!

That's pretty funnny!! I guess they aren't what they were all hyped up to be.
Really? Well I guess we all bought junk also, because there have been a few problems, and I know FOR SURE that Mercedes & BMW have NEVER had a single car act up...

This is just one horror story about one vehicle, I wouldn be quick to judge...

Re: Lol!!!!!! You Gotta Watch This!!! Cts-v Bagging!

He was better about it than I would have been. I would have been a screaming lunatic and the dealer would have needed the police to get me to leave. Just seeing that video will keep me from buying ANY GM vehicle.
I'll be 50 in a year and a half and was considering a Corvette as my
50th birthday present to myself. Now I need to find another brand of toy.
I do own a '70 Chevelle SS but that was when they knew how to build cars.

What happend before he started to take the video? Mis-shift? Racing? Come on...Anybody who acts like that won't get the service he might deserve.

Re: Lol!!!!!! You Gotta Watch This!!! Cts-v Bagging!

I think some of you are giving GM/Caddy too much credit. Did you hear him list ALL the things that have gone wrong with the vehicle at the end of the video?

My guess is the misfiring in the video had to do with a faulty coil pack that failed when hot. Common failure mode, works fine when cold but once hot the insides expand and if there's a bad wire there will be a short in the circuit with causes those mighty electrons to stop flowing.

That doesn't explain his rear-end failure, seat belt tensioner failure, the number of other issues he's had with the car outside of the problem that happened in the video.

If anything, this further confirms my belief that GM builds crap. I've had personal and family experiences with GM products, none of them have ended positively.
