I am in the process of installing some driving lights on the Titan. But I am having trouble finding a good spot to go through the firewall at . Any suggestions?
I have the lights mounted in the bumper but need to get the wiring done.
Keep the power wire under the hood by using a relay to turn on the lights. The only thing that need to go through the firewall is the trigger lead for the relay, which can be small gauge as it carries minimal current.

I'm about to do a similiar thing for auxillary reverse lights; will have an in-cabin switch to allow me to run the lights whenever I choose. Where is the best location to tap into an in-cabin +12V hot wire to feed the switch which will trigger the relay?
You can use a fuse tap from Rat Shack or a Little Fuse Mini Blade Add A Circuit to tap the passenger side lighter socket circuit in the fuse box on the passenger side dash. The passenger side lighter socket goes on & off with the ignition so no danger of running the battery down.
Where are you guy's buying your driving (Fog) lights? My SE dosen't have them and the black inserts look pathetic.
Thanks
Best to get the OEM kit, it will come with a new headlight stalk with built in fog lights switch. Your SE is pre-wired for factory fog lights, about 15 to 20 min. install plug and play. http://www.courtesyparts.com/titan/exterior.html

I think I will try the fuse tap method...forgot about that one. One could almost eliminate the lighter socket on the passenger side all together...think that is what I will do.

Good idea, but that fuse is 15A. I've only been able to find 10A max Add-A-Circuit taps.

The 10A rating refers to the circuit that you are adding (the relay trigger circuit). You aren't going to be drawing much juice on a relay trigger lead. The OEM 15A fuse will still protect the lighter socket circuit. Whatever fuse you have in the Add-A-Circuit for your new circuit will protect your wire to the switch for the relay trigger lead. 1 amp would suffice.
