easiest way to swap mirror caps?
Swapping mirror caps tomorrow along with door handles. Anyone know how to do this? Can't I just use a flat screwdriver and pry the mirror cap off? What is involved with changing the door handles? I have the non big tow mirrors.

With a long flat blade screw driver, you have to get at the tabs from inside the mirrors. Move the mirror glass itself to one side and using a flash light look for about 4 or 5 locking tabs that need to be push out.

Hey Mantis I swapped mirror covers with Tony at one of the SoCal meets. It was really easy. Now I need to change to the chrome door handles. Thanks baseballfanz for the link to the how to. Ill try it when I get home today..

Door handles are easy, you will need a 30 pt torx driver as I recall. Open the dooors and there will be a rubber cap on the inside sill. Remove the cap, unbolt. The driver door is a little tricky but still simple. Whole job is 10-15 minutes.

we did o sh!it my bad i was all into removing the top grille i though all we did was take of ur chrome and put it on mine dint know my black covers came off
