New TITAN owner

Alright everybody, I'm new to this whole scene and looking for some good advice. I just got my first TITAN after wanting one since '04. The wife finally gave me the go ahead and now I'm looking for some ideas to improve on what I consider the best truck on the market. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, but not so fast. I'm looking for a logical flow of ideas here. Should I start outside, inside, or under the hood???

Re: New TITAN owner

Welcome to TitanTalk.
I would guess you want performance. Start with an intake and a muffler. From there is it all about what you want high(lift) or low(lower rear).

Re: New TITAN owner

I was thinking under the hood would be the place to start. I have looked at the Injen, and AEM intakes. Are there better ones out there?

Re: New TITAN owner

Injen, Volant, AEM, NISMO, K&N all about the same performance wise. Your choice. I myself have the AEM (dry filter, no need to oil it when cleaning). Some peoples put a TBS (throttle body spacer) and an exhaust would compliment any intake you get.

Thanks Baseball. If you don't mind me asking where did you get your face plate for your gauges. That looks pretty sweet and seems like it would be a simple subtle change.

Re: New TITAN owner

I have the AEM bruteforce(dry filter) and love it, it has an awesome sound. I have the magnaflow catback as well and those 2 mods really woke the truck up and they sound great together.

Re: New TITAN owner

Best bang for your buck performance wise right now:

Intake, Exhaust, 2 degree advance, and run whatever octane you can afford.

Re: New TITAN owner

Well I think we have a consensus. CAI and exhaust will be the first mods to go on. Thanks guys. BTW does anyone know who makes the best fitted sub box for the KC?

Thanks. Any idea what $$$ range. I have seen some around $400 +/-, but none that are specifically fitted for the KC.
