I was at the dealership the other day and looked at the front brakes of the 07 titan and armada. The 07 titan looks to have the same brakes, but the armada front brakes look new. The caliper is bigger as well as the rotor. The rotor looks to be about 1.25 thick versus 1.02 on the titan. I checked the Nissan websites and they mention nothing about the brake change...saw a 07 QX56 with the same brake set-up.
This could be a potential upgrade for the titan front brakes...should be a straight bolt-on. I have the brake fix, but after 10,000 miles, hard braking brings the shudder back (not as bad as rev 1). The stillen brakes are a nice upgrade but are a little pricey and you can't run 17" rims.
Anyways, if anybody out there has some information or an inside source, please post any details on the 07 armada brakes.

I was told that you cannot retro fit the new Armada brakes onto a Titan... supposedly the front hardware is different.
Stillen's 14" Big Brake Kits have the same part number for the 2007 Titan, Armada & QX56. So I assume the same caliper will bolt to the front torque members of all three vehicles (unless Stillen is confused).
I'll try and swing by the dealership this weekend to look at the mounting points. I don't think Nissan would change the knuckle with a different set of mounting points for the caliper assembly. They are more likely to have changed the torque member. The caliper is located in the same location...
I figure we would need the caliper assembly (caliper, torque member that bolts to the knuckle, pads) and the rotor. Hopefully, the new caliper has same fitting interface for the brake hose.
The caliper assy for 04-06 is about $370/side...If we go with aftermarket rotor figure maybe $100 each. So this is a lot of assuming, but we maybe to get it the brakes for 900-1,000...don't know.
You're right...this only works if it's a straight bolt-on at a lower price.

BTW, I believe these are the rotors Stillen sells...also, check out the DBA 4000XS series. These are the same as the Stillen pillar vane rotors.
As far as corroborating evidence, right now it looks like the best we have is to go to the dealership and look at 07 titan and armada side by side and you'll see the difference.
I roughly measured the armada rotor at 1.25" thick vs. the titan 1"
i was told a year ago by a nissan regional rep that bigger rotors and a different caliper design was being tested....he said to look for them on the 07-08 year model titans and armada.....i say he was right?
