Re: New Tundra Info

[quote=walleeme]Look again when the new Tundra comes out for the lack of a towing mirror option. (I bet Toyota does it again.)QUOTE]

LOL...No one ever accused me of being a shrinking violet...I'm worse in person!

At the Anaheim show, Toyota had some geek dressed in jeans and wearing a toolbelt standing on the turntable with a microphone in hand.

"Toyota has increased their outside mirror size by over 20%!" he said.

Yelling out, I said..."Oh yeah?' 'well it's still 15% smaller than the one on a Titan!"

(I have a pic..I'll upload it into the photo gallery...of Mr. Redneck wanna be).

Only in America!

That's a good thing. The other one was about 12 percent too small. Just like the rest of the last Tundra.

Now, let's talk about the T100. My stepmother has one of those that she bought new in 1998. It looks to me like a 1976 Corrolla masquerading as a pickup truck. And we don't even want to mention the brake problems on that thing do we? Because it has problems.

Right there, are 2 examples of Toyota Motor Corp taking the easy road at the expense of truly being the best. And I feel bad for people like my stepmother. Her T100 is a POS, and she bought it with those "Toyota's are the best" blinders on. A Ford Ranger, which is well into it's second decade of about the longest product cycle in history is a better truck than a T100 was.

Re: New Tundra Info

Sorry guys... I actually meant to include that as an attachment, but couldn't figure it out as i'm a newbie to these forums. Also didn't realize another thread was going on aout the same topic - sorry. I agree that this release was a spin machine from Toyota's marketing dept. I found it over the top and that's why i shared it... Anyway, I'd never buy a Toyota truck... My wife's getting rid of her company Rav4 and it can't happen soon enough. She's in line for an LE CC next month, my '01 Pathfinder is for sale... Sounds like you've been having trouble from some other guy who happens to be from Toronto as well - 37L1 just read me the riot act about it, but I'm not him. Off to a rocky start I guess... I'll start fresh and read a bit about how to use the forum first. Sorry guys...
