court tomorrow!

so a few of you may remember me saying back in july me talking about my truck getting egged. well if you didnt long story short, TITAN got egged, i caught the little $hits that did it! well tomorrow i go to court to settle this once and for all. the parents of the minors that are responsible for this dont think they should have to pay for my repairs. the answer is "its just a truck" it makes my blood boil when they say that. anyways i have a good attorney and sounds like i am going to get some $ to fix my baby. wish me luck! thanks - derek (titan814)

I hate it when people tell me that as well. "Oh, don't worry about it, it's just a truck". Steams me up when they say that. I'd like to stick my foot up their a$$ when they tell me that. Then I can say "Ah, don't worry about it, it's just a foot up your a$$".

How much are you going for in the claim?

i freakin hate those lil' punk kids that do shiz like that. my wife's car got egged 2 yrs ago-it was cold out & the eggs froze! it was a royal PITA to get it off, but i caught it in time & the car was fine. i was mighty pissed tho. never caught the lil' fags. good luck bro.

, are cheap! Heck, let the little bastids fork over $30-40k for a vehicle and see if they think they're "just a truck". Not to mention, some people take pride in how their vehicle looks. You obviously do from what I've seen of your truck. No respect is what it boils down to - for others or for themselves. Biggest problem with today's society IMO.

No wonder these little punks do what they do. If the parents have the "it's just a truck" mentality, it must apply to their other, poor parenting ideals. These kids are screwed for life with them as parents. I'd rather give the parents a beating, than the kids who did it.

A buddy of mine drives into work everyday (NYC) and parks on the street. He's not much of a perfectionist when it comes to his car but has a temper. He was sitting in his parked car and some lady backs into the spot infront of him with her convertable and hits his bumper.

He rolls down his window to say something and she says "It's just a bumper!". He waits for her to leave, takes out his knife, and proceedes to slice up her convertable top. As he was walking away he mutters "It's just a convertable".

Good luck with your court date - let us know how it turned out. Something tells me the parents won't find it so funny once they go through that experiance - ANY visit to court is a sobering one.

This thread has struck a nerve. I had a Honda Civic with thousands invested. It got egged the first week I moved into my new home. And every week or so for 2 years. My car was egged so often, I woke up every time I heard a car drive down the street. Literally every time!!! I slept on my couch with the front door opened for months here and there tryin to get the jump on these bastadrs. I installed night vision a camera outside my window and put an 8hr VHS tape on record all night, each time it was a different car. Sometime nice, sometime a junker. I have permanent psycological damage. My wife and I finally had enough and we finally moved again!!! Now we live in rural PA and I still wake up when I here a car sounding somewhat close to my home. Before I lived there I never had anything ever happen to my car or house. Just this particular neighborhood. They egged my car and my buddys M3 same street often. Mine more. I finally got so sick of it I sold my car. I bought the titan and it all stopped, but I still went outside to check it 3-4 times every night for months after. Our last night in our old house my truck was shot with paintballs. I was devistated. I still am. I put word out offering $500 for a name of who would do this to me. I wanted revenge, and I never got it. So because of this, I sold my baby civic, sold my house and rarly sleep soundly throughout the night. I always wanted a tricked import, and I finally had one I built from a brand new bone stock civic... I put my heart into this car, and was forced to part with her to spare my mental health. Sorry, but this thread is what I have dreamed of...catching those punks. Heres some pics of my civic, I miss her every day.
