Well that's just another thing overlooked. I always wondered why they didn't allow those to be closed like the others.

LOL...tell that to my wife. I'm always hot and she's always cold. dual climate controls keep us both happy. It's a nice option to have but not a must have. Maybe you ride solo all the time or dont have a wife or have never had this option, but I've got this option in all my cars too and I love it, so does my wife. Keeps up both happy. I've you've never had it, you dont care, but if you've use it, you dont want to live without it.

Re: Problems with HVAC in the LE

I have an 06 CC LE and haven't had any problems operating mine.

I just have it set and always leave the AC off - unless I am running the defrost (like an earlier post on this thread, semi-auto).

To switch between dual and not-dual - you have to toggle through by pressing the auto button.

I like the system and think it works as well as what I had on my Lincoln. Actually like the dual zone feature as when I drive on long trips I don't wear my coat but my wife and kids wear their's. That way I can have heat on myside without cooking them.

I have heard, but forget which company it is, that someone is not just oging dual zone, but dual level - so there will be 4 areas that can be individually controlled!

I agree, climate control is nice, but dual climate control is silly.

Silly or not, if it keeps the wife happy, I'm all for it...
