Question Remove Kick Panel?

Quick question, I need to remove the drivers side kick panel to the left of the emergency brake. I have an 05 xe titan. The panel has some type of pin in the back, I wasn't sure if this just pops off or not. I applied a small bit of pressure got the rest loose but I wasn't sure about that part.

Also anyone know where I can pick up a plate holder for the front bumper? I can't find one around town.

Re: Remove Kick Panel?

I have the same model, and I know what you are talking about but I'm not sure how it comes out. I'll look and see tommorow if nobody else chimes in. I have the front tag holder that came with mine but I don't need it if you are interested, pm me with an offer.

Re: Remove Kick Panel?

The pin in the central portion of the fastener acts as a wedge to retain the fastener in place. You need to use something (like a small screwdriver as suggested above) to partially pull out the central pin prior to pulling out the entire fastener. When re-installing, you position the entire fastener, and then push in the central pin to wedge it in place.
