Rattles, Rattles and more Rattles

I've got a ton of rattles. Seems like they are coming from the rear seat, rear window area. Also, the center console rattles. I guess I'm the King of Rattles. Kind of discouraging from a new truck. ( My lexus has well over 200,000 miles and not one rattle or problem ).

Re: Rattles, Rattles and more Rattles

Yep, rattles here too. Not too worried. I had a Dodge Dakota with no rattles that was a POS as far as everything else goes.

I see where he's coming from.
I was extremely pissed off at nissan when at 500 miles the bezel around my instrument cluster started squeaking. It's since gone away and I havn't heard anything else. lots of people here post about different rattles and quick fixes for them search around.

Elias I guess you do not understand the message. Try looking for the message and not just reading the words.
The message ( point ) is the quality of workmanship in my opinion in comparison to Toyota/Lexus appears to be inferior.

I had that dash squeak as well. I pulled off the bezel and put in some foam tape along the top edge...cured. That is the only rattle I have had in my truck in 25000 miles. Maybe I just got lucky and my shift tightened everything.

His point seems clear, why give a new member grief about looking for answers on a forum designed for just that type of issue?

SMGCO - Welcome to TT. What make model and year do you have?

my point is that when you are a new member you can come here, and look for answers, there is nothing wrong with that. The comment about his Lexus and it has 200,000 miles without a rattle has nothing to do with him looking for an answer to his rattle problems he is comparing a pick-up truck to a Lexus. When you are new to a forum you come in carefully so people don't label you as a TROLL!!! thats my point ! I understand he maybe frustrated but there are a lot of people with a whole lot of worse issues, and take it better than this guy who just started on this forum and starts implying that Lexus is better than Titans my point!

Seems like you just like to yell. Most seem to take it as "why so many issues with a new truck".

I see your new too, if you look at all my threads this is the first word I have ever yelled in 2 years of being on this forum. If you stick around here over time you will come to understand our passion for our trucks and your questions "why so many issues" will be answered. Welcome to TT Ving.

You need to worry about yourself, and follow your own advise SMG.

Re: Rattles, Rattles and more Rattles

hey guys, I had the same rattling near the steering column, all I did was fold a business card in between the plastic glass, and resolved the issue........
My center console rattles too, only 7k miles. Is there a way to tighten up any bolts or screws.

Re: Rattles, Rattles and more Rattles

Been here for over 3 years now and I'm on my 3rd Titan. So, not new, I just read more than I post. Posts like yours to smgco is why people don't post. Rea the thread, you're the only one with an issue. You also seem to contribute allot to being percieved as "new" in the forum. Time to unsubscribe from this one, it's going no where fast.
