Warrenty

Hey guys, I'm currently looking to buy an 04 Titan extended cab with 22k miles.

It has a 6in pro-comp lift, flow masters, and fiberglass fenders.

The seller says it has 3 years left on the full bumper to bumper warranty from Nissan. In my past experience, they wont cover non-oem parts. Is that the case here?

Re: Warrenty

True, unless it is a no fear titan. Car Warranties only cover what they put on at the factory. So if a Flowmaster muffler goes bad, Nissan is not going to replace it. etc..

Re: Warrenty

Would the transmission and gears still be covered?

Should, but not saying that a dealer wouldn't try to give you fits. I think that they should, but not saying that they would. Alot of guys are running a 6" lift. I don't know if any of them have had problems or not.

Bumper to bumper is 3 years 0r 36,000 miles.
Drive train is 5 years or 60,000 miles.
Unless the previous owner purchased an extended warranty.

Re: Warrenty

I'm curious to know how the seller states that he still has a full 3 year bumper to bumper warranty from Nissan remaining.
I have a 2004 Titan and the warranty is 3 years or 60,000 km

His AD says

"FULLY TRANSFERABLE WARRENTY 3 MORE Years"

so I e-mailed him and asked and he said

"THE WARRANTY IS BUMPER TO BUMPER FULL COVARGE EVERYTHING."

Re: Warrenty

I wonder if it is an extended, or the seller is stupid.

You better e-mail him again and inquire what extended warranty plan he purchased. As previously mentioned the basic Nissan warranty is 3-36 bumper to bumper and 5-60 powertrain. BTW powertrain includes the engine, differentials and driveline components.

Heres the listing

tp://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/car/264726272.html

The price seems reasonable, anything I should look out for if I go to see it?

Re: Warrenty

It has to be extended. And most I believe are transferable.
