N E one want to race an 06 Tundra

ive posted about this multiple times about how my friends 06 extra cab 2x4 4.7 beats my 06 4x4 CC titan. i put a banks exhaust on it and it made the race closer but still cant catch him. his truck has a weld in place FM and a KN drop in.
My truck has the DIY airbox mod and a banks montser. were in las vegas, NV in the north west part of town. he beats a stock KC 4x4, and a stock CC 2x4. i think a KC 2x4 will beat him. i want to see a 4X4 or CC just stock w/ exhaust to beat him. i will let one of you guys race him in my truck if youd like. i just want some one else to witness it. like i said before if i cant drive i would rather have someone else race
his tundra in my titan.

BTW my truck has 6100 miles on it his has like 12,000

A friend of mine has the same truck and I have the same truck you have and I can believe it with the weight difference.I have drove his truck several times and once the rpms get up its pretty strong.

He'd have to have a LOT of mods to even come close to even a 4X4 CC. I know, a co-worker has a new Tundra and gets pissed all the time...lol. What mods does he have on it? Apples to apples here. If he has no mods, then your truck has huge power problems.

hes got a weld in place Flow master super 40 that was off of my old f150 and a Kn drop in filter. i have a banks and the DIY air box mod...Hey any vegas guys w/ a titan let me know so you can see it first hand

I'll get up to your neck of the woods sometime. I'm challenging a guy at my work with a 4x2 Tundra V8 to race at Irwindale...says he puts the smack on the new Chevy's....okay. I'll have the killing live on tape. If I'm ever by Las Vegas...I'll take up that offer.

Take it to the track and put some slips down to prove it. Slips are better than tickets.

Either he has more mods than he is leading you to believe or something must really be wrong with your truck man, stock for stock those 4.7 Tundra's arent even as fast as a CC Titan. Most us CC 4x4's hit 15.0-14.8 in the 1/4 with only Volant and Banks.

You should run your truck on the track or do a few G-tech runs and post your results. Then we can tell you if your truck is running slower than it should. Also with the extra flow that the Banks gives your exhaust, your going to want to do a good CAI. I don't know how good that airbox mod is, but you don't want to half a$$ your intake, especially when adding a big exhaust like the Banks.

I've said this before, driving my old 4.7 Tundra ext/cab 4X4, modded w/ CAI and catback/ flowmasters w/ over 40k miles (which is now my father's ranch truck) after driving my Titan CC 4X4 OR/BT w/ 15k miles (same mods), I noticed that the torque off the line feels very different, more umph (whiplash factor) with the Titan, however the Tundra seemed like it accelerated faster then my Titan, mostly due to the weight vs. hp/torque ratio. I've yet to actually put the two, lined up, because their is only one of me... but my butt dino tells me that it is very true that in the short run, the 4.7 Tundra will be slightly ahead because of this wt. to hp/tq ratio... just my opinoin added to this thread...

My brother and I have a 63 vette with a zz4 and beat up 4 speed that I bet would wax his tail. That would be funny, watching a couple of old duffers in a vette tearing up a tundra hotrod........
