Re: No break in Price on the Tundra

Sounds about right for Toyota. Question is, how many GM and Ford "converts" they'll find willing to pay a premium. Not as many as they think, i'd bet.
Cheers, Lee S.

Re: No break in Price on the Tundra

Money talks... BS walks! I've owned a Tundra and they aren't any better or worse than Ford or GM IMHO. All of those truck have there problems. The once difference is that CR takes cash under the table to hide Toyota's flaws.

Re: No break in Price on the Tundra

The Japanese automaker's Tundra will start at $22,290 for a two-door, V-6 version and go as high as $41,850 for a four-door, V-8 CrewMax version, Toyota said Wednesday. The 2007 Tundra is available in 31 versions.

Toyota will most likely not offer incentives and dealers will most likely not offer great deals below MSRP. It should be very interesting to see how many of these trucks they sell.

Re: No break in Price on the Tundra

There won't be any price breaks/incentives for at least a year. Thats one of the reasons I'm driving a Titan. I was all set to buy a crew cab Tacoma when the new ones came out.

I think the Titan will be the last first year model I'd buy anyway (even though I've had no real issues). The Tacoma had its share of problems at launch, which was unusual for Toyota. I'm sure the Tundra's going to have a few also.
