So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

I'm just curious, how many of you guys are real Nissan fans? I'm referring to the guys who may have owned a few in the past (or not), and just the fact that the Titan is a Nissan influenced your decision in buying one. I'm guessing there's a few of you here, but most people are probably just truck boys who've wandered over to the good side.

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

Hello I'm Gerald and I'm a long time Nissan fan. The first car I bought when I was 18 was a 96 Maxima SE. Then 5 years later I purchased an 03 Altima SE for my wife. Then I sold the Maxima to my brother and bought an 05 Titan and sold the Altima and bought an Infiniti G35 sedan. Actually there was a time period between the maxima and the titan where I owned a ford expedition but that was short lived.

I'm on Nissan number 14 now. I haven't owned anything else since my first Nissan...an 88 Nissan Sentra Sport Coupe SE.

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

my first truck was a 86 1/2 Nissan Hardbody. Lots of good time in that thing. I had a 03 Tacoma before my Titan, so I think I was a import truck kinda guy. But the Titan isn't really an import seein that is built in the good ol USA

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

One of my first cars was a 71 Datsun 510 4 door. Since then I've had a 76 Datsun 620 pickup, a 70 and another 71 510 (with a turbocharged L20b), an Infiniti J30t, an 03 Xterra, and the current mix of an 03 and 04 Sentra, and of course the 05 Titan. Nissan forever!!!

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

Yeah, the majority of my vehicles have been Nissan. I've always been pretty happy with them.
87 Hardbody KC SE-V6
95 200SX SE-R
04 Frontier XE CC
06 Titan KC SE
Plus, we just picked up a 06 Infiniti G35 coupe to replace my wifes Acura TL-S. I've only owned 2 cars that weren't Nissan - 99 F150 Lariat and an 03 Acura TL-S. So I guess you could say I'm an all around Nissan fan.

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

I'm not an all-around fan, but still a fan.

It started with an 86 1/2 hardbody that got passed down from my dad, to my brother, and then me. By the time I flipped it in 95(long story) it had 243,000 on it and still ran like a top with no major engine repairs. I think it still had all the original parts on the motor! (water pump, timing chain, altenator, ps pump, etc.) We still drove it around my grandpa's farm after it was totaled. Then I bought a 88 hardbody since I had plenty of spare parts and put 50,000 trouble free miles on it. Then the wife and I bought an 03 Xterra (aka the Canyonero) that we had for two trouble free years before the Titan. I would probably still have the Xterra if it werent for some dumbass kid who hit it while it was parked in my driveway. I was impressed w/ the lack of damage after the wreck. It was t-boned at about 25-30mph in the pasenger side front quarter and lifted the entire front end off the ground and moved it about 4 feet (no skid marks in the gravel). The bad thing was that the wheel took about half the impact and it was a 4x4. So after some mysterious shimmys and leaks developed on the X it got sent on down the road so I could buy one of, if not the best 1/2 ton truck on the market.

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

It's my first Nissan but my wife has owned 2 others.

1993 NX 2000 (120,000 miles)
2001 Maxima

I was always a Ford guy but my wife's experience with Nissan and my obsession with the Titan and it was a no brainer!!

This is my first Nissan, and if they keep the turnaround going I will buy more inthe future. I would love to have the Skyline/GTR when it comes out.

Re: So who here is an all-around Nissan fan?

I still have a tiny bit of a thing for GM, but now that I have a Titan, I think the next vehicle I get is going to be an Altima for my lady.
