Banks Monster Exhaust question...

I am just wondering what everyone who has the Banks Monster installed paid both for parts and installation...

The dealer here in Anchorage AK is charging $650-something for the kit and $867 installed, just wondering if that's a high price or standard...

That's high but you are in Alaska.

I got mine for $450 back in the day and installed it myself, it's easy and everything fits.

You can beat the $650, just Google. . .or contact some of our site sponsors.

Try AK Underground. I don't have their # right off hand but they are right off 5th next to Battery Specialists.

I've been told they can get just about anything for a pretty good price.

Oooo...or maybe we can find a place to cut us a break if we order two.

Re: Banks Monster Exhaust question...

can you just order a banks muffler & avoid the high cost of the SS "mandrel bent" piping? then just have your local muffler shop fab a setup for you?

Re: Banks Monster Exhaust question...

Got mine for $450 also. Local mechanic installed for $100. You can do better, even in Alaska.

Re: Banks Monster Exhaust question...

Its probably one of the easiest mods you can install. The Banks exhaust is a bolt in, I think I paid around $450-499 for mine. Took about 2 hours in the driveway to drop the old system and install the Banks. No cutting, welding or installation hassels. Just bolts right in.
